The Office for National Statistics recently delivered encouraging news for the construction sector, reporting a 0.4% growth in construction output—four times the growth rate of the overall UK economy. 

Key drivers of this growth were private commercial new work and non-housing repair and maintenance, which saw increases of 3.1% and 1.1%. The surge in commercial construction projects has been fueled by rising demand for office spaces as employers encourage staff to return to physical workspaces.
