Fire Stopping

A firestop or fire-stopping is a form of passive fire protection that is used to seal around openings and between joints in a fire-resistance-rated wall or floor assembly.  Being able to certify this fire stopping give our clients and their insurers piece of mind, and the ability to demonstrate that the works have been carried out by a competent contractor.

We are BM Trada approved to install fire stopping products, as we have undertaken the BM TRADA fire stopping installation scheme and take responsibility for the training and work carried out by a number of operatives. The scheme is designed to ensure that fire stopping solutions are being fitted correctly, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
