WHAT WE DID
- We had to use a mixture of non-pollutant varnish/paint stripper to loosen the material and use DOFF to remove it whilst temporarily repairing vulnerable areas prone to water ingress and carrying out a permanent repair on completion.
- Liaised with resident regularly to check there was no water ingress, use of roof terraces, ensure windows were closed etc.
- Carried out works over river via rope access. Working times limited to only when the tide was out.
- Keeping on top of the mess that arise from the DOFF cleaning.
- Phasing scaffolding and ensure continuity of works.
