Carried out remedial works to 800 doors while causing minimal disruption to residents.
All repairs were carried out to BM TRADA recommendations.
To achieve the minimum 2-4mm gaps around the door leaf to the frame we needed to remove architraves and adjust frames while making sure fire stopping was not compromised.
Reinstalled intumescent smoke seals previously incorrectly installed and where adjusted threshold gaps throughout the project.
All doors were able to be salvaged and all repairs were assessed and deemed satisfactory within the fire risk assessment.
The project was delivered within budget and within the requested time frame.
