WHAT WE DID
- We liaised with all residents and informed them of the phasing and power down times well in advance.
- Carried out replacement of existing mains cable with new 95mm 5 core SWA, a very heavy cable which was extremely difficult to maneuver and bend in to place, around some very tight bends and runs.
- Replaced all sub mains cables to apartments with little to no disruption.
- Power down was meticulously and carefully reduced to two 6 hour time slots meaning residents were under no circumstances left without power overnight.
- All penetrations through brickwork along with any damage resulting from the removal of old redundant cabling was made good and painted ensuring and impeccable finish.
- Re-configured all electrical switchgear within mains cupboard and removed all redundant equipment.
